Jesus Calling:
Fight the urge to indulge in complaining. Once you step over that line, torrents of rage and self pity can sweep you away. The best protection against that is thanksgiving. It is impossible to thank Me and curse Me at the same time. Thankfulness awakens you to My Presence, which overshadows all your problems.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:4-6
Almighty God, thank you for the gift of life, your abundant blessings, and for the opportunity to have a relationship with you. Help me to always maintain an attitude of gratitude. Amen
