Holiday Health

wellness, health, diet

Creating habits for optimal health goes way beyond maintaining your desired waste line. As chronic disease rates skyrocket all around us we have to realize that eating unnatural foods is doing more harm than just adding a few extra pounds.  You are way too smart to be feeding yourself and your loved ones foods that are harmful.  I challenge you to lead by example this year and create healthy options for yourself and your loved ones.  As you begin planning, here are a few healthy dessert options to consider:

1) Blue Berry Parfait: Frozen blue berries, cocoa nibs and a touch of almond milk whip cream with no added sugar.

2) Sunbutter (or Almond Butter) bars: Sunflower butter, cocoa nibs, goji berries and a dash of either honey or erythritol sweetener.

3) Avocado pudding: 2 large avocados, 1/2 cub of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/3 cup coconut/almond milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, dash of cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of honey or erythritol sweetener.

Think about eating all Natural with plenty of Superfoods this season.  Avoid these deadliest foods:
1) Barbecued meats, processed meat, commercial red meat and fried foods
2) SUGAR and SOFT DRINKS
3) All white flower products.  Especially those that are processed that come in a bag.

There is no reason to poison yourself and your loved ones this holiday season.  You are way too smart and have too much potential to operate at any level other than optimal.  Do your research, get smart and lead by healthy example this holiday season.
